The Steamwand Phoenix can operate a wide variety of applicators to suit a range of agricultural situations. It is ideally suited for use in organic horticulture, vineyards and orchards It can operate 1 or 2 applicator heads up to 600mm in diameter or a fully adjustable boom designed specifically for horticulture crop rows. Speeds vary from 1-3km per hour dependant on terrain, stage of weed growth & type.
There are many benefits to using Steamwand Phoenix over other non chemical weed control methods. The Steamwand only uses superheated water to control the weeds so there is no danger of melting drip lines or setting fire to mulches. Unlike mechanical weed control techniques there is no risk of damage to the roots, stems or trunks, and there is no damage to the soil structure.
