Proven Technology

The Steamwand Phoenix is unique in its class of thermal weed control.

Thermally efficient it uses just 67 kilowatts of energy to heat 5 litres of water to temperatures that destroy weeds in seconds.

The Steamwand Phoenix can run a range of attachments, from a trigger operated, hand held gun, suitable for spot weeding, up to vehicle mounted applicator heads 450mm - 600mm in diameter for vineyards & orchards, capable of treating weeds at 1-2km per hour. The Steamwand can also be fitted with multiple heads for weed control in row crops such as carrots, garlic & broccoli.

The Steamwand Phoenix is compact measuring 1000mm long x 700mm wide x 800mm high and weights only 270kgs.

Average water consumption is 5 -7 litres per minute (depending on applicator head) eliminating the need for enormous water tanks. Truly mobile and versatile the unit can be mounted on a Ute, small tractor or trailer to reach areas previously inaccessible to larger machinery.
